Steps To Configure Router for GTPL Broadband

Requirements

  • Wireless router with all cables.
  • A laptop/Computer should be attached to a router with LAN cable or with WiFi.
  • GTPL Username & Password.
IMPORTANT NOTE
  • First You have to call GTPL customer care and ask them to add your router's MAC Address in their system. Generally, you will find MAC Address on the backside of the router.
  • I am writing this article based on the Router model "TP-LINK Archer C60".

Steps

  • Go to the Login page of the Router and enter the default password. As I have logged in before so it's showing me the password screen but if you log in for the first time you are asked to enter username and password which usually you will find on the backside of Router

  • Next, you have to click "Quick Setup".

  • Click on Next after selecting the Time Zone.

  • Please choose the PPPoE option and click Next.
  • Please enter the Username and Password which you received from GTPL.
  • Please enter the Network Name and Password which you are desired to have for your Wifi. If you have a dual-band router, you will be asked to enter different names for 2.4GHz & 5Ghz respectively. Click Next to proceed.

  • Next, you will see the summary of all the settings options that you have selected. Click Next to proceed.
  • Finally, you will see the successful message of the configuration of the router.

That's it! Once you complete this process, you should now have your wireless network up and running. Please let me know in the comments section below in case you face any issues and I will try my best to answer your questions as soon as possible.
